With 20 years of experience in local construction and development industry, providing full design services, as well as specialized service of high performance building design (Zero Energy, Carbon Neutral, Passive House), peer review for design efficiency, value adding and management, project team integration (PTI), design optimization, documentation quality assessment and management.

SUSTAINABILITY is in the centre of DESIM approach. Design, Engineering, Innovation and Management are our tools.

Previously:

Assisting young team at Greenland Group (Australia) from June 2016 to September 2018. Setting design standards, design procedures while over-viewing all company projects. Major involvement on Greenland Center Sydney - tallest residential building in Sydney. Very close cooperation with City of Sydney on delivering Creative Hub as part of the project. Assisting in critical stages of Ashmore precinct (Park Sydney) project, NBH at Macquarie Park

In December 2014 joined Universal Property Group in Western Sydney, as Design Director - managed the team of 30-40 drafters, architects, interior designers, landscape designers, project managers.

More than fifteen years at Meriton - largest national residential development company. Developing and managing more than 50 projects of various sizes. Delivering projects that obtained various awards in challenging conditions.

Much earlier:

Seven years of experience in Southern Africa - RSA, Zimbabwe, Botswana. Experience on major shopping centers in Cape Town and Midrands, commercial projects in Pretoria and Gaborone.

Manager - Planning

Tatjana joined DESIM in March 2019.

  • More than 25 years of extensive experience with 16 of those years spent involved with all aspects of NSW planning; statutory or strategic, infrastructure planning and asset management, in private or public sector, at local or State level.

  • Exceptional understanding of NSW Government planning framework, strategic policies and development standards as well as the State and Commonwealth Legislative planning environment.

  • Remarkable ability to translate planning policy into effective planning tools. Tatjana’s work is present in a significant number of current NSW government planning policies and instruments.

  • Proven records of successfully formulating feasible options and pragmatic recommendations; translating technical data into simple and effective policies; and drafting of planning legal instruments (SEPPs & LEPs) or development control plans for local or State authorities.

  • Interdisciplinary academic background encompassing architecture, asset management, planning, urban design and public sector management.

Alex has joined DESIM in January 2020 after successfully completing his Passive House Designer certification. Since then he is involved in few very interesting and complex Passive House projects.

Alan Johnson is an award-winning design architect who has delivered iconic projects in Sydney and the Gold Coast. He is known for his pragmatic but elegant design solutions in complex high-rise mixed-use developments of up to 65 storeys as well as for his environmentally responsive façade development in all scales of work. He works closely with clients to achieve their goals, leading multi-disciplinary teams for the effective delivery of projects.

Eminè has an extensive background in Interior Design and Project Management. Her portfolio consists of an impressive array of projects ranging from corporate offices, Government and Defence Projects to residential developments. She has worked for companies such as Meriton Apartments and Woods Bagot. She consults on projects to create spaces that support health, wellbeing and engagement.

As BIM Manager, Trevor leads the Enravel BIM services team internationally. With experienceworking with Meriton as their BIM Manager for 8 years, Trevor brings BIM expertise, construction knowhow and services coordination to Enravel.

Piotr has extensive experience in building services project and stakeholder management through design, documentation and delivery phases. He has been involved in some of most significant projects working for Mirvac, Westfield, Built and John Holland. His expertise ranges from residential, commercial, retail, mixed and master planned high-end projects.

Chartered structural engineer with over seven years experience in design and documentation of residential, commercial and industrial structures. Involved in the concept and detailed design phase, quality assurance and site supervision of low, mid and high-rise projects. Responsible for design of steel, concrete and composite columns, reinforced and post-tensioned slabs and complex transfer structures for major projects. Extensive experience in schematic and detailed design of building lateral stability systems; resulting in proficiency in software packages such as Strand7 and ETABS.

More than 30 years of local and international *Middle East and S-E Asia) experience on wide range of projects, from residential to hospitality, aged care, Industrial, transportation, mixed and master-planed developments. Strong all-rounder skills, from concept design and master planing, client liaison, documentation, detailing and technical knowledge, consultant management, build-ability and site assistance, project programming and budget control. Team management gained on complex projects for some of leading architectural practices and development companies - COX Architects, GSA, Caldis Cook, Fender Katsalidis, Australand, Dyldam, Parkview.

As an accomplished business leader, project manager and water engineer with more than 35 years of experience in water systems engineering and management. Dragan has held senior management and leadership positions in consulting organisations (MWH Australia, Water Research Laboratory of UNSW, Hatch Associates), a cutting edge cleantech company (Geo-Processors), a major Australian public sector utility (Sydney Water Corporation), as well as a leading multinational private utility providing water and wastewater management services in many countries around the world (Suez Environment).
